In an article in Newsday, an ME correspodant named Mohamad Bazzi claims that Hizbullah `hacked` into Israeli radio communications during the July War to track Israeli movement throughout the battlefield.
Although the Israeli’s are using a U.S.-designed communication system called the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System that is believed to be highly-secured, the hizbullah guerrilla’s must have seized the opportunity of a potential mistake in following secure radio procedures to collect sensitive information about its enemey.
Personally, I think that the technology used for eavesdropping and signals interception came directly from Iran. It is quite interesting that Hizbullah is experimenting with this kind of technology and pretty surprising for most of the Lebanese citizens.
