Lock Picking 101: Key Bumping

What is it? It has been a known technique for at least the past 50 years. Once correctly used, this technique can be immensely powerful, as it allows a large variety of locks to be opened.

Bump Keys are keys in which all the cuts are at maximum depth. Therefore, any used key for a given lock can be converted into a bump key.

Hizbullah to have sniffed radio traffic

In an article in Newsday, an ME correspodant named Mohamad Bazzi claims that Hizbullah `hacked` into Israeli radio communications during the July War to track Israeli movement throughout the battlefield.

Although the Israeli’s are using a U.S.-designed communication system called the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System that is believed to be highly-secured, (more…)

Reviving This Blog

Some might label this blog dead, others might say “Samer is too lazy to post”. Actually, the problem is that the niche this blog should be targeting is just too tight (Technology in Lebanon). Anyway, I will start to blog regularly again trying a new posting approach. I might also change the design making it minimalistic and more usable.
